Inaction and a spider

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

I was in a house that I lived in during my early teens with my family. I remember being in a bedroom that used to be my sister’s, and then going into the next bedroom which used to be mine when we had a lodger living with us.

My old bedroom used to be decorated in pink and grey, but in the dream I saw a pale blue carpet and walls. The colour of the carpet got paler near one of the walls. There was a brown coffee table near that wall (where my bed used to be in waking life). I was in a single bed, but it was opposite the door. The door was open. The door was painted in white. The curtains were open, and even though I couldn’t see out of the window, it appeared to be a sunny day.

I saw a large black spider crawling up the wall near the coffee table. It also had antennae. I felt nervous and pushed the coffee table right up against the wall and the spider fell on the floor. I didn’t see it for a while. I lay in the bed, looking at the doorway. I wanted to get out of bed and go through the doorway. I felt unable to do that. There was no fear or emotion but I felt as though there was a psychological block preventing me from taking any kind of action. I looked at the wall and I saw the spider crawling up the wall again. I realised that it was causing the block, and I remember thinking that I have to get out of the room but also feeling unable to do so.

New York City - a big shake up!

Friday, August 1st, 2008

I was in New York with a woman who is somehow connected to John. She had blonde hair that wasn’t quite shoulder length. She looked like she was in her 50s. The woman was standing by a window looking out.

We were in a large room with a hot tub and a small group of naked guys in their 30’s or 40’s wearing weird cream-coloured loin cloths. Their faces and hair kind of reminded me of Eskimos or a similar nationality.

I was either in the hot tub or standing next to it when the building shook like a bomb had exploded. I noticed a small black screen in front of me and someone was behind me pointing at a graph of some sort that was being displayed. It was monitoring the shaking.

I saw a building with the Statue of Liberty next to it. It was a library but it was a famous one. I saw the top of the building, and there were people on top of it. When I saw the rooftop of this library, I saw a massive golden-haired baby (imagine a Godzilla sized baby!) just sweeping its arm across the top of the building, causing that part of the building to topple over. There were people on the rooftop and I saw some scaffolding. There were some people on there trying to escape. They fell to their deaths. The baby was chuckling and smiling, just as if it was playing. I realised the baby represented myself. While this was going on, I felt some rumbling similar to the shaking I had felt previously. I looked up and saw a tree. I also saw a small group of people walking by the tree. The baby went with them. The group of people were so tall they were taller than the tree. I noticed they were in similar attire to what the Romans used to wear - except for the colours. I noticed one of them was wearing a golden helmet with a large plume of feathers in the centre of the helmet. Another one was wearing a vivid red tunic of some sort. I didn’t see their faces because they were walking away from where I was located with their backs to me.

After that, my focus was back in the room with the hot tub. The group of men were climbing out of the hot tub. Two or three of them grinned and flashed their privates at me. Their privates were massive. Needless to say, I felt shocked.

I approached the woman by the window and asked her about the library. She told me she knew which one I meant and I think she told me the name of it but I can’t remember. She seemed rather preoccupied and a bit grumpy. While I was in the room I felt some more shakes.

I saw a man who told me that there are several major cities going through a similar situation as we were experiencing in New York. He was talking about what mankind needs to do. The basic message was that we must do all we can to settle our differences (battles, etc) this century because next century we won’t have the time or opportunity.

At some point, I was viewing the base of the library building. Someone was restoring it or repairing it. The brickwork was a dirty white, and I could see reddish brown bricks right at the base next to the ground. Someone was cementing some circular objects on a brick, which made no sense to me. I saw an external staircase leading to a door. The steps were very narrow, about the width of a foot. There was an old rusty metal banister on the side of the steps.

At the end of the dream, I saw G outside. It seemed that he had just arrived in the city and he had a stunned expression on his face.
